Nominate a Family in Need

At Mitten & Company, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

Through our giving-back initiative, we help local families who are facing roofing issues but simply don’t have the means to fix them.

Whether it’s storm damage, leaks, or an aging roof that’s become a burden—we’re here to step in when it matters most.

Who Can Be Nominated?

We’re looking to support families in our local community who are:

• Experiencing financial hardship
• Living with a roof in poor or unsafe condition
• Unable to afford necessary repairs or replacement
• Facing unexpected circumstances (medical, loss of income, etc.)

You can nominate:

• Yourself
• A neighbor
• A friend or family member
• Someone in your community who could use a helping hand

What We Provide

Each selected family may receive:

• Roof repairs or partial replacement
• Full roof replacement (depending on need and scope)
• Professional inspection and assessment
• Support from our trusted Mitten & Company team

Every situation is different, and our goal is to provide the most meaningful help possible.

How It Works

To submit a nomination, please email melissa@mittenandcompany.com with the following details:​

• Name of the nominee
  
• Contact information
  
• Description of the roofing issue
  
• Explanation of the family’s situation and need
  
• Any relevant photos (if available)
  

Our team reviews each submission carefully. We may reach out for additional details or schedule an inspection. Selected families will be contacted directly.

We review nominations on an ongoing basis and select families throughout the year.
